The Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy (ISGAP) is currently seeking applicants for a workshop-based curriculum development program in anti-Semitism studies. ISGAP is dedicated to “scholarly research into the origins, processes, and manifestations of global antisemitism and of other forms of prejudice.” ISGAP uses it’s studies to “disseminates analytical and scholarly materials to help combat hatred and promote understanding.” This educational opportunity is intended to give professors, academics, and other scholars-in-residence the opportunity to learn about anti-Semitism on campuses, and also how it can best be combated.

Summer Institute for Curriculum Development
 in Critical Antisemitism Studies

The ISGAP-Oxford Summer Institute is seeking
scholars-in-residence for an intensive two-week workshop-based curriculum development program in interdisciplinary critical contemporary antisemitism studies.
The program, dedicated to the development of antisemitism studies as a recognized academic discipline, will be held at St. John’s College, in Oxford, United Kingdom from July 29, 2018 to August 11, 2018.
The program is intended primarily for professors with full-time college or university positions, though exceptional doctoral and post-doctoral students may also be considered.
Under the guidance of leading international academics, scholars-in-residence will be required to develop a course syllabus and curriculum in the interdisciplinary study of critical contemporary antisemitism, to be taught in their home university upon completion for course credit.
Application deadline is February 23, 2018.
Several full and partial Fellowships will be awarded to successful applicants.
